It has a Carbon Fibre Celestron C11 OTA at its core with the legendary Hyperstar at the prime focus giving a whopping 2.5 deg FOV when used with the Nikon D7000. This also makes the system extremely fast at F2. Imaging is easy at F2 and I have attached examples of images using as little as 9 x 20S images and, mercifully, NO GUIDING IS NEEDED at these exposure times! The system comes with a Nikon D7000 body which attaches to the Hyperstar via a supplied custom fixing. A Losmandy G11 mount driven by Gemini II controller and hand paddle interfaces the system with many planetarium programs. This all sits on a very sturdy Galvanised Pier. The C11 and Hyperstar have their own Storm Cases for super protection during transport. All in all, this is a fabulous and well - proved package to start imaging immediately and get pictures that few systems can capture.
