Orion 80ED First Light Images - 2007

Some simple images taken with an Orion 80ED (80mm refractor, 600mm focal length, f7.5) with a Meade DSI Pro, mounted on top of a Meade 10-inch LX200GPS. All are 30 second sub-exposures (unguided), taken with a 0.75x focal reducer (450mm focal length), from an urban area.


Double Cluster in Perseus - 5 min


M57 - 5 min. Very tiny!  Good rendition of the view thru the eyepiece (from dark skies)


M27 - LRGB 10, 5, 10, 10 minutes respectively
