Hi-Res 8"F7 Planetary Newtonian components
Hi,

After several enquiries for individual parts, I have decided to price the parts individually too.

This is the optical set and cells from my 8"F7 Newtonian. Specs are ~ 1/6W at the eyepiece. One of the pics shows assembled scope - this is for the components only.

Small 1-1/2" diagonal size and low profile focuser keep diffraction to almost non existent levels.

Kit includes:

8"F7 full thickness Pyrex super-planetary primary in 9 point flotation cell. Mirror is center spotted. - $150

1.5" Protostar elliptical secondary with matching 4 vane spider - $50 ****SOLD****

2" low profile focuser. 2-3/4" racked in with 2" EP, 3-1/8" with 1.25" adapter. Travel is 1-3/8". Very smooth with tension adjust. - $45

If you want it, your can have the tube cage too. It was built for 9-5/8"OD Sonority that you can probably match at Rona or Home Depot.

These are all the parts you need to make a killer Newtonian.
