The primary mirror was cleaned by orion optics less than a year ago, the scope is 4 years old, one issue with the scope & I don't know if this is in the cpc design is when I put the ota on the tripod I have to hold the metal base that's attached to the grey control panel while I turn it onto the locking screw on the tripod this in know way affects the performance of the scope, my previous cpc 8" had the same issue.
