For Sale Status: Sold  Ad Category: Telescope-Reflector  Ad # 126750 Skywatcher 250 ds ota mounted in custom made Orion Optics dob base. I have for sale my 10" Dob set up. Not your normal Skywatcher dob.The rings and dob base are custom items I had made up by Orion Optics to fit the black diamond 250DS ota.The base alone cost well over £300 but is a superb bit of kit all metal with optional friction brake. The whole set up is as new and the optics are first class and unmarked. The OTA does have one area on tube where it looks like previous owner may have rotated the assembly in original rings and has some surface scratches and few small areas of paint missing ,without that the whole setup would have been described as pristine ! Pictures show that area. It is latest ota with smooth dual rate focuser and comes with superb 9x50 RA finder and the ever popular Telrad finder.Secondary has Bob's knobs for easy collimation. Comes with original white tube rings and dovetail so you can use on a big enough EQ mount.
