For Sale Status: Active  Ad Category: Book-Magazine-Atlas  Ad # 133146 Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogues - Millennium Star Atlas - Complete set - Reduced For sale here a complete, 17 volume set of the Hipparcos and Tycho Astrometric and Photometric catalogues published by the European Space Agency as ESA publication SP-1200, 1997. Apart from a slight folding fault at the inner top edge of a single signature in volume 11 (original binding glitch) which does not effect the reading of the tabulated data, this is a mint set in mint dust-jackets and includes the rare software volume (Vol 17). Not many people realise this set includes the complete Millennium Star Atlas which is contained in volumes 14, 15 and 16 and with copies of that Atlas priced from £400 upwards this is a cheap way to get it. The set also includes a complete astrographic catalogue to accompany the Millennium Atlas as well as comprehensive information on doubles and variable stars amongst other things. The set is very heavy and fills 45cm of shelf space - probably could be sent by post but a pick up would be best.
