Rare chance: Polarex/Unitron 76mm Photo-Equatorial & many accessories...
We have some big household bills coming up and it's making me re-assess whether I keep some of my telescopic treasures.

This Polarex (branded Unitron in the USA) is a real prize in the UK (it's the only 76mm in the UK I'm aware of). It took me a few years to find one and I've had it for a few years now, but I just don't use it enough (in fact at the moment, the mount has been a display mounting for a different refractor)...so I must consider selling it. It is complete with, original solar filter & sun projection screen, RA drive & slow motions on the first class EQ head, diagonal & one original eyepiece, diagonal, counterbalance, camera mount, guidescope rings and wooden boxes for the classic EQ head and refractor. Although from a similar period and a good match, the guidescope is not original (and needs a repaint). There are some paint touch ups and some marks indicating a 40-something year old instrument, but otherwise it's in good overall condition, with clear glass.
