For Sale Status: Active  Ad Category: Mount-Pier-Tripod  Ad # 84415 CGE Mount with Gary Bennett cable mod, counterweight, Tripod and various software. (will consider without Tripod for reduction of £200) I have had this CGE from new (imported from the U.S) - is about 4 years old. It has the Gary Bennett cable mod which replaces the original rubbish ethernet-type connectors. Has been exclusively used in my observatory. It is retained in the original packing. The RA axis has a pair of replacement ceramic 1/2" bearings for the worm, & I have another pair if the DEC ever needs replacing. I participated in the Celestron firmware program a year or 2 ago and so it has up-to-date proven firmare in the motor controllers and handset. I tested the Li battery in the column & it still show 3v so should be just fine. I have the HUGE 3" leg tripod also. This has been used a few times with my EQ6 & an adapter plate but is still in v. good condition. Also, I will include a custom pier adapter which can be fitted to any plate using 3 holes. I also have NexRemote with serial number which makes observatory operation a breeze. I will include the ethernet -> DB9 cable for PC connectivity. There is a very long 5m power connector -> cigarette lighter connector. Also, the T-bar wrench is included, to adjust the alt & Azimuth. All of my home pics over the past 4 yrs have been taken with equipment on this mount ( see psjshep.jalbum.net/Astro%20Photography ) This is all VERY heavy so buyer collect (or can meet halfway within reason).
