For Sale Status: Active  Ad Category: Optics-Lens  Ad # 94147 Pentax Super Takumar 200mm f4 lens PRICE REDUCED I'm having a bit of a clear out of astro kit, and have realised that this lens hasn't had much use since I bought it, as I find it's quite bulky and the much smaller 135mm version works better on my iOptron skytracker mount. It's a lovely old lens and comes with its original dust caps and hood and leather case. For anyone with 48mm filters, I can also include a step-down adapter. There are blemishes: 1. The filter thread obviously took a bash at some point, as you can see from one of the attached photos, but the hood still screws in just as it should. 2. The iris blades are a bit sticky, and in order to stop it down I've sometimes had to tweak the little metal rod that sticks out of the camera end until the blades stop down to the selected aperture. 3. I've also included a shot through the lens with the iris stopped down, to show a bit of gunk or fluff on the edge of one of the blades. It's not visible with the lens wide open, and I've never noticed any effect at all on photos - in fact I noticed it for the first time today. 4. The black finish on the aperture ring is worn back to silver in places, not surprisingly for a lens that I think is older than me (1960s, I think). Price includes UK postage.
