RARE ORANGE CELESTRON C8 1970's VINTAGE, TRIPOD, FORK MOUNT WITH DRIVE AND WEDGE. ALL ITEMS ORIGINAL.

As above, with Celestron finder, piggy-back bracket, original plastic corrector cover and 2" visual back.
The tube assembly has been removed from the fork and currently has a dovetail fitted for Vixen mounts etc.
The tube has some paint missing, probably from removing it from the forks, but no dings and intact! The focus is very smooth. Inside the tube is clear and bright, no misting, mould or other nasties! There are a few white flecks on the corrector which I have not tried to remove. Otherwise the correcdtor is clear as a bell. The images are very good.
The mount makes a noise (ticking) when you plug it in, but I don't know if it's fully functioning.
The low price reflects the condition - and even then I consider it to be a bargain, so no haggling!!
I will take some pics, so if you want them let me know and I'll send them when they are ready. If you live nearby, you are welcome to come and look it over.

Markus Ludes says: The 480 gets most of the headlines, but the 600 is every bit the telescope with a gift of it's own. It shares all the same features with the 480, but is better suited for high mag work due to it's longer focal length. You'll never see better planetary or double star performance from an 80mm telescope, yet it can still obtain fields of up to 4.6 degrees.

And Tom Trussok in Cloudy Nights adds:
So what differences did I find between the 80/480 and 80/600 TMB lenses? The 80/600 has a greater depth of field and thus is a little easier to focus, slightly easier to get to high powers and has zero false color – either in focus or out. The 80/480 offers a wider field of view and a slightly more portable package. As a visual observer, if size isn’t at a premium, I tend to slightly prefer the 600 for its longer focal length.

Antares Speers Waler - 17mm, 82degree, Long Eye Relief Lens

This 82degree Wide Angle Long Eye Relief Lens gives absolutely outstanding views. I have used it in my F4.5 16" Dobsonian with brilliant images.

However, unlike many of the lower cost "wide angle" lenses out there, this one has 8 elements and gives superb edge correction.

It has a 1.25" configuration.

True Technology Ltd SupaSlim-Wheel for filters

It's a lovely bit of kit with space in the filter wheel for 7x 1.25" filters. Other size filter wheels are available from Tru Tech.

It will also include the nose piece to fit to a 1.25" focuser tube. There are no EP holder's included in this sale, but they are readily available. I bought mine directly from True Technology themselves - quick phone call and they were with me within 2 days.

This is not the motorised version, but the manual one. Still a very good item, useful for both astrophotography and visual.

Looking for £85 inclusive of p+p for this item please.

Rack and Pinion Focuser for Refractor, 2" Fitting Drawtube.**SALE PENDING**

As I have replaced this with a 10-1 Crayford model it's for sale. Standard Skywatcher model as fitted to 102/120/150 scopes.

Fits into 96mm tubes/sockets. Length from tube/socket to end of drawtube 138mm. 2"-1.25" standard Skywatcher adaptor ( supplied ) adds an extra 22mm length.

In excellent condition apart from gold (?) spray paint part way round outside of 2" socket ( as from previous owner and cosmetic only )
